The webmaster’s bill (improved)
In September we displayed an empiric model that facilitated the calculation of budgets for web development. That model was based on the following expression:
PRICE PROJECT = (((CMO+ MP)/160) x H) + EAP
CMO. Costs of monthly operation.
MP. Monthly pay.
H. Hours dedicated to the project.
EAP. Expenses associated to the project.
Here i present the new formula to you:
PRICE PROJECT = ((((CMO+ MP)/160) x H) + EAP) x COEF
The corrector coefficient COEF is obtained by means of the following expression:
COEF = TC x DP x DiP
Where:
- TC is the corrector coefficient of Type of Client (New = 0.9, Habitual = 1 or Preferred = 0.95).
-
DP is the corrector coefficient of the Duration of the Project (Short = 1, Medium = 0,95 or Long = 0,9).
-
DiP is the coefficient corrector of the Difficulty of the Project (Low = 0,9, Medium = 0,95, High = 1).
You can download a tool developed by BdW, that facilitates the calculation of the budget, by only introducing the project data. Along with version 1.1, you will download version 1.2 developed by our friend Alexander Archila Celis.
